Yagara Magandjin Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is a collective of Yagara Elders and direct descendants of Kerwalli of Magandjin (Brisbane), supported by community members committed to protecting, preserving and sharing Yagara culture, language, history, heritage and connection to Country.

Led by Elders and grounded in the cultural knowledge and responsibilities passed down through generations, YMAC provides cultural guidance, Welcome to Country, education, consultation, storytelling, language work, creative projects and community engagement. We advocate for the protection of Yagara cultural heritage, lands and waters and work to ensure that Yagara knowledge, identity and connection to Country continue to thrive for future generations.
